Sagle Jones Purcell:
Mrs. Purcell is the CEO and President of C.T. Purcell, Inc. Mrs. Purcell is responsible for new business development, capital raising, new acquisition analysis, contract review and negotiation, financial record keeping and other office administration as well as the day-to-day management of the Company and projects. Mrs. Purcell also assists with bid preparation, prepares all budgets and financial statements and coordinates the maintenance and implementation of the Company's safety policies.
Prior to helping form C.T. Purcell, Inc., Mrs. Purcell was the Vice President of Investment Banking and Private Equity for Mercury Partners LLC, a boutique real estate merchant bank and private equity firm located in Greenwich, Connecticut. Mrs. Purcell helped the senior partners consummate over $2.2 billion in transactions in 3.5 years by raising equity and debt capital as well as serving in advisory and analytical capacities for client transactions. In addition, she helped this start up firm grow by developing new business relationships. Prior to Mercury Partners LLC, she also worked at Forest City Enterprises, Inc. (NYSE: FCEa, FCEb) in Cleveland, Ohio and Silver Companies in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
Mrs. Purcell graduated from Collegiate School in 1994, graduated cum laude from Mary Washington College with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Psychology in 1998 and graduated with honors from Cornell University with a Masters of Professional Studies in Real Estate (Development and Finance) in 2000. She is a member of the Urban Land Institute, the Cornell Real Estate Council, Hanover Association of Businesses and Chamber of Commerce, Board of Director member at The Montpelier Center for Arts and Education, the Associated General Contractors of Virginia and theRichmond Area Municipal Contractors Association. Mrs. Purcell has completed the 30 hour and 10-hour OSHA General Industry and Construction Course, is trained in First Aid/CPR and is a Responsible Land Disturber Certificate Holder.
Charles Tupper Purcell:
Mr. Purcell is Vice President of C.T. Purcell, Inc. Mr. Purcell has over 20 years of site contracting experience and is responsible for new business generation, bidding and managing projects as well as operating equipment. Prior to forming C.T. Purcell, Inc., Mr. Purcell worked for J.E. Liesfeld Contractor, Inc., M.S. Wimbish, Inc., and Adamson Development.
Mr. Purcell has worked in a wide array of capacities from shoveling ditches to managing projects. He has a thorough understanding and appreciation of site contracting and the numerous components that make a project successful. While working with previous employers, he managed the Superior Markets project in downtown Richmond, the St. Catherine's School project in west end Richmond, and a Westminster Canterbury project in the north side of Richmond. Mr. Purcell is a native of Richmond, Virginia and attended Riverside School, New Community High School and Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. He is a member of the Associated General Contractors of Virginia, is a Board of Director member of Richmond Area Municipal Contractors Association, and a member at The Montpelier Center for Arts and Education. Mr. Purcell has completed the 10-hour OSHA General Industry and Construction Course, is a Responsible Land Disturber Certificate Holder and is a Virginia Department of Mines, Minerals and Energy Certified Mine Surface Foreman. Mr. Purcell also has the following certifications: First Aid/ CPR, VDOT flagging, Laser Awareness, lock out/ tag out, as well as Trench and Excavation Competent Person Training (29 CFR 1926 Subpart P Standard).
Mr. Hess is a Project Supervisor with C.T. Purcell, Inc. He joined the company in February 2005. Mr. Hess is responsible for managing his own job sites by heading up a team underneath him and ensuring the daily on-site tasks are completed. Mr. Hess' desire to grow within the company has also led him to be the head of the Topcon GPS+ machine automation system for the company's equipment as well as the site utility work. Mr. Hess continues to operate equipment and works directly with the President and CEO of the company to promote communication between the sites and the office.
Mr. Hess has completed the 10-hour OSHA General Industry and Construction Course, is a Responsible Land Disturber Certificate Holder, is certified in First Aid/ CPR and has the following certifications: general mineral miner, lock out/ tag out, VDOT flagging, Laser Awareness and Trench and Excavation Competent Person Training (29 CFR 1926 Subpart P Standard).
Hartwell Harrison Dillard:
Mr. Dillard is a project manager for C.T. Purcell, Inc. He joined the company in September 2005 to manage the daily job site work activities. Mr. Dillard works closely with the field crews and supervisors to ensure all facets of the job site activities operate smoothly and all site information is reported to the office. He also performs the site erosion control inspections, serves as a site safety officer and provides logistical support to the President of the company. Mr. Dillard regularly assists with the site preparation duties including utility installation, fine grading and even shovel work which in turn provides the company with additional flexibility by acting as a floating field crew member when necessary.
Mr. Dillard's previous work experience emphasized communication, production and operations. Mr. Dillard worked for Capital One as a contractor for 1.5 years in the Internal Communications Department where he provided senior level executives with detailed reports from survey data gathered from company associates. Mr. Dillard has also worked as an Account Executive for a locally owned residential subcontracting company and eventually became the Purchasing Agent and Warehouse Operations Supervisor. In addition, Mr. Dillard learned his "hands on" skills when he became the head operator for one of the only glass beveling machines in the state and revised the production schedule which lead to increased production and sales.
Mr. Dillard is a Richmond native and attended St. Christopher's School for ten years and graduated from Collegiate School in 1994. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Virginia in 1998. Mr. Dillard has completed the 30-hour and 10-hour OSHA General Industry and Construction Course, is a Responsible Land Disturber Certificate Holder and is certified in CPR/ First Aid. He also has his general mineral miner, lock out/ tag out, VDOT flagging, Laser Awareness and Trench and Excavation Competent Person Training (29 CFR 1926 Subpart P Standard) certifications.
Field Crew and All Employees
C.T. Purcell, Inc. currently has eight site crews consisting of a three project managers, one utility superintendent, seven project supervisors and 30 equipment operators/ laborers. In addition, CTP has a dedicated environmental manager and safety and health officer.
